Cook like mama
CARLUCCIO'S bustling caffès and foodshops will take customers on a gastronomic regional tour of Italy this year.
The restaurants will start with the Veneto region, and follow on with Emilia Romagna, Toscana, Puglia and Calabria, and Piemonte.
Carluccio's St Albans is holding some cooking classes to have you creating culinary classics from Veneto.
Impara a cucinare Il Risotto Veneto: Cooking a Venetian Risotto, (£45.00 per person / capacity 10 people) will take place on January 22 from 11:00am-1:15pm. You will learn about the characteristics of food from the diverse region and then be lead through the steps to create the perfect risotto, ending the class by enjoying your dish over a glass of wine. Then it's dessert and coffee, and picking up your goody bag of everything you need to recreate your risotto.
Il Risotto Veneto Dimostrazione di cucina: Venetian Risotto Cookery Demonstration (£25.00 per person / capacity 20 people) will take place on January 22 from 7-8:30pm. Enjoy a glass of wine while you discover how to make the perfect Venetian risotto with this step-by-step demonstration, then taste three yummy examples and pick up a goody bag.
