Harpenden Lions call in the cash to help the homeless this Christmas

MORE than 20 Harpenden Lions Club volunteers rattled tins in the High Street
throughout the day on Saturday December 15, and managed to collect an impressive £858 for Emmaus Communities.
The group offers homeless people a
home, work and the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive
environment, and operates locally in Batford and St Albans.
The Lions have been raising
funds in this way in the run up to Christmas for more than 20 years.
